Budget-friendly Corby will be released soon

After marked a great success with Corby, Samsung will soon release the lowed-price version of this cute mobile phone. As Techtree reported, Corby Pop, the downgrade version of Corby S3650 will be launched officially in India first.

In general, Samsung is targeting consumers who fall in love with Corby, but is looking for lower price. However, though the price is relatively cheap, Samsung promised this next Corby will have extra features on it.

And yes, Corby Pop keeps some features of its predecessor such as 2.8 inch monitor display and integrated FM radio. However the price reducing does affect the quality of camera. While its predecessor comes with 2 MP camera, Corby Pop is only equipped 1.3 MP camera.

In India Corby Pop will be sold Rs. 7000 or about Rp1,4 million. This is quite a competitive price for a touch-screen mobile phone model. Well, if you are one of Corby lover, just be patient and hopefully it will be released in Indonesia soon.

CSL Blueberry i9000, the Smallest Qwerty Mobile Phone

CSL mobile phone producer booked new record by recently launched handsets Blueberry i9000 series which is claimed to be the smallest Qwerty phone.

The phone has dimensions of 53.8 x 98.8 x 13.3 mm. Although it has a small shape, i9000 offers complete features and applications, starting from dual GSM, 1.3 megapixel camera, Facebook application, Twitter, to Opera browser.

Completing its features and applications, i9000 is also equipped with Color TFT LCD 2.0 inch QVGA-size, plus a four-way navigation buttons for menu operation.

This phone is also claimed as religious phone as it has many religious features such as call-to-pray (adzan) feature; along with adzan sound for some major cities of the world. In addition, this mobile phone also has a smart feature to assist the user in determining the direction of Qiblah (kiblat).

Yahoo! Go will soon be gone

Yahoo! Go a mobile application was released in 2006 will be closed on January 12, 2010. Yahoo Go is a portal service that allows users to access content within Yahoo itself. This includes emails, contacts, calendar, photos, and so on.

In 2007, Yahoo worked with HTC to offer version 2.0 of this application in windows mobile handset. Then Yahoo released 3.0 version as the improvement of the previous version.

But in the next years, it seems yahoo no longer focus on the application; this can be seen from the lack of development of the new version of Yahoo Go on this year.

As pcworld says, the policy to close the application is a smart move for yahoo. The problem with the development of smart phone technology in these recent 4 years, making this application considered less effective.

So, since months ago Yahoo started focusing on a new iPhone application with some related platforms. This application is named Yahoo Mobile Applications.

Now Yahoo is struggling in the increasingly competitive online marketplace. As a result, since 1990 Yahoo also had been closed their web hosting services called GeoCities. So, let’s see yahoo’s next surprise for next year.

Connect to your Facebook account via PS3 with support of Firmware 3.10

Social networking Facebook application would soon be present in the PS3 console. Users only need a firmware update version 3.10. This statement can be seen in Sony's PlayStation blog.

The blog said, when firmware has installed in PS3, users can run applications on the social networking on their beloved console. With this application, the developers are able to update useful information for fans of their games.

By connecting PlayStation Network account to to Facebook account, users also have the option to update their Facebook newsfeed automatically.

Others new stuffs on firmware 3.10 are the photo store feature in the PS3. It says that this feature will be much easier and has better view. Furthermore, the list of friends on the PlayStation Network (PSN) has been modified based on feedback received, after updating firmware 3.00. Users also can choose PSN ID color.

Goodnews for Blackberry user. The latest operating system upgrade of the BlackBerry OS 5.0 is rumored to be coming soon. The operating system is designed for the Blackberry Storm. This news comes up after a few days ago BlackBerry informed to update the OS 5.0.328 Strom with some improvements.

Among of those improvements is the addition of browsing feature called Flick scrolling. Furthermore, there is also faster loading time to open application compared to previous version. Unlike the usual updates, this update is not through the OTA (Over The Air). So for Storm users who want to upgrade their OS, make sure there is a PC nearby, and visit the BlackBerry sites.
